Environmental Engineering
It is the application of science and engineering principles to improve the
environment, to provide healthy water, air, and land for human environment and for
other organisms. Environmental scientists and engineers study and attempt to
minimize the effects of acid rain, global warming, automobile emissions, and
ozone depletion. They also are involved in the protection of wildlife. Environmental
scientists and engineers are now playing the important role of the guardians of the
environment.

Educational Qualifications
+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths a high percentage of marks. Program
duration is four years. Admission to B.Tech program is made generally through
entrance tests.

Many job opportunities are provided by Environmental Science & engineering in
many fields . One can be a researcher, a designer, a planner, an operator of
pollution control facilities, a professor, a government regulatory agency official, a
manager of programs, or be involved in professional society work. Environment
engineers also have prospects in business industry as the government has
notified that any industry that employs over 500 people must have a health and
safety officer.
